How do I install STEVE?+
Download the .pkg installer from the homepage (email required). Run it and STEVE will be installed to your plugin directories.
Do I need a license key?+
No. STEVE is free. No license key, no activation, no account. Install it and go.
Which DAWs are supported?+
STEVE works with any DAW that supports VST3, AU, or AAX on macOS. Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Reaper, Studio One, Cubase, and more.
Is there a Windows version?+
Not yet. STEVE is macOS-only for now. Sign up with your email and we'll notify you if a Windows version becomes available.
What does a slew rate limiter do?+
It limits how fast the audio signal can change. This can smooth transients, reduce harshness, and add weight or body. Think of it as controlling the 'speed' of your audio.
What is Delta Listen Mode?+
Option/Alt-click the slew knob to hear only what STEVE is removing from the signal. This lets you tune the effect by ear.
