Everything you need to get started with STEVE.
Quick Start
Download the installer
Click the download button on the homepage to get the macOS installer.
Run the installer
Open the .pkg file and follow the prompts. STEVE will be installed to your system's VST3, AU, and AAX plugin directories.
Open your DAW
Launch your DAW and scan for new plugins. STEVE will appear in your plugin list under 'Fond Audio'.
Insert and go
Drop STEVE on any track. No license key, no activation, no sign-in. It just works.
How STEVE Works
Slew Amount
Controls how fast the audio signal can change. 0% is transparent (no effect), 100% is maximum limiting. The display toggles between percentage and microseconds. Click the readout to switch.
Mix
Wet/dry blend from 0% (bypass) to 100% (fully processed). Null-test compliant at both extremes.
Delta
Toggle to hear only what STEVE is removing from the signal. Option/Alt-click to arm Auto-Delta Listen Mode. Delta engages automatically while you adjust the slew knob.
